Mistakes are inevitable, so when they happen, make sure they are taken as a learning experience. Now is the time to make use of what you have learned. Leadership is comprised of the confidence and ability to help and teach. Be true to your word. You never want to mislead people as a leader. If you can't, you have to tell people why. Making sudden changes to plans or promises can undermine your respect unless others understand the reasons behind your decisions.
